Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 28, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how the wellness app "Lullia" (hereinafter referred to as "the App") handles your personal information and data.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Changes on March 28, 2026: Enhanced AdMob (advertising) disclosures and strengthened ipapi.co description.
2. Data We Collect
The App handles the following types of data:
Wellness Data
Records of your physical condition and mood. Stored on your device using SwiftData and synced across your devices via iCloud.
Location Information
Location information is used to obtain barometric pressure data for your current location. You can toggle location access on or off in the settings.
When GPS access is granted, the App uses your device's GPS to determine your location. This location is used to request barometric pressure data from the Open-Meteo API.
When GPS access is not granted, the App sends a request to an external service (ipapi.co) to estimate your approximate location based on your IP address. Your IP address is transmitted to ipapi.co's servers as part of this request. The estimated location is cached on your device. If neither method is available, barometric pressure data for Tokyo is used by default.
If you prefer greater privacy, we recommend granting GPS access. When GPS is used, location data is processed on your device and no IP address is sent to external servers.
Barometric Pressure Data
Weather data obtained from the Open-Meteo API. Used to support your health management.
App Settings
Stored locally on your device using UserDefaults.
Advertising Data
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements so that many users can enjoy the App for free.
Based on your Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) consent, you may see personalized or general advertisements. If you do not allow tracking, only non-personalized ads will be shown — these are not based on your interests or behavior.
Ad performance measurement is conducted through SKAdNetwork, a privacy-preserving framework provided by Apple.
Your wellness data (physical condition and mood records) is never used for ad delivery.
Subscription Information
Processed through Apple StoreKit. Payment information is not accessible to the developer.
Background Tasks
Used for background processing such as sending notifications and updating data.
3. How We Use Your Data
The collected data is used for the following purposes:
- Providing app functionality and operating the service
- Supporting health management through analysis and graph display of health data
- Sending reminders and health-related notifications
- Displaying advertisements
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services:
Used for data synchronization and subscription payment processing.
An API service used to retrieve barometric pressure data.
Used to display advertisements. Based on your Apple App Tracking Transparency consent, you may see personalized or general advertisements. If you do not allow tracking, only non-personalized ads will be shown. Ad performance measurement is conducted through Apple SKAdNetwork. Location information obtained from ipapi.co is never used for ad delivery.
Used to estimate approximate location based on your IP address when GPS access is not available. For details, please refer to ipapi.co's Privacy Policy.
Each of these third-party services is governed by its own privacy policy. We expect these services to maintain appropriate data protection standards, but we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies for details.
