01Introduction
Note: Nekotimer is currently distributed only on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (Japan region). This English version is provided for reference; the Japanese version is the legally binding original. In case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.
This Privacy Policy describes how the routine timer app "Nekotimer" (the "App") handles your personal information and data.
By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
02Data We Collect
The App handles the following data.
Routine and Run-History Data
Routine names, step contents and durations, weekday schedules, reminder times, completion history, success rates, and run-time logs. All data is stored only locally on your device in an expo-sqlite database. Nothing is transmitted to Latty Cat's servers.
Mascot Name and App Settings
The display name of the "Nekota" mascot (editable), and toggles for sound, haptics, and notifications. Stored only locally on your device.
Subscription Information
Premium subscription status is processed through Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. The developer has no access to raw payment information. RevenueCat uses an anonymous identifier to manage subscription state.
Usage Statistics
The App collects non-identifiable usage statistics through TelemetryDeck for quality improvement — app launch, feature usage counts, and error events. No IDFA, no cookies, and no routine names or run history are transmitted.
Usage statistics transmission can be turned off at any time from within the App's settings.
Notification Tokens
The App uses on-device local notifications (expo-notifications) for routine start reminders. Because notifications are scheduled locally, no token is ever sent to an external server.
03How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data for the following purposes.
- Running the per-step countdown timer for each routine
- Aggregating and displaying run history, success rate, and streaks
- Sending scheduled local reminders to start routines
- Managing Premium subscription state
- Statistical analysis for app-quality improvement
04Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following services.
- Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing — payment processing for the Premium plan. Managed by Apple and Google.
- RevenueCat — unified subscription state management for iOS and Android. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- TelemetryDeck — a privacy-focused analytics service. No IDFA or cookies; no PII. See the TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy.
The App does not access your photo library, camera, contacts, location, or microphone.

- Delete the App to completely remove all local data from your device
- Delete individual routines or run history records from within the App
